SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST – HOUSTON, TEXAS

Job description
E2 ManageTech (E2) is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic Houston team.  The qualified candidate will have 5-10 years’ experience working on software implementation projects as an analyst, as well as working with clients to define process and system requirements.  He or she will have extensive experience applying EHS concepts to management systems, as well as experience in one of the following domains: air quality, incident management, safety management of change, audit, sustainability, environmental or compliance data management.  This individual will oversee project teams to ensure established Environmental, Health, & Safety related business requirements are properly translated into Information System specifications and accurately implemented.

Specific duties for this position include:

  • Lead assessments of current client business and operations processes, identify opportunities for improvement and peer review documented potential gaps
  • Facilitate primary discussion of functional requirement in adequate detail for transition to configuration
  • Oversee deployment of requirements and resolve translation disconnects between the technical team and the client, clarifying information system details into related business requirements that non-technical audiences can understand
  • Oversee configuration of enterprise-level commercial off-the-shelf software to meet delivery and deployment requirements
  • Review requirement specifications for completeness
  • Assess team performance and efficiency and make resourcing adjustments as needed
  • As needed assist in addressing or escalating complex issues that arise from testing
  • Identify project delivery milestones and communicate to team
  • As applicable based on the project team assignment, function as liaison between client project teams and technical implementation associates
  • Regularly interact and communicate with clients
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for questions and issues resolution.
  • Manage and finalize project documentation:
  • Design specifications
  • Quality assurance and testing templates
  • Training guides
  • Lead project status and progress meetings
  • Sustain client relationships in order to identify potential new work opportunities.

Desired Qualifications and Experience
Technology Skills

  • Proficient with MS Office software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, MS Project
  • Knowledge of computer languages and code, system or database architecture.
  • Extensive experience with software deployment project lifecycle phases – requirements gathering, planning, testing, and delivery

Education
Minimum Required:

  • A degree in engineering (Civil, Environmental, Chemical, etc.), environmental science, industrial health, biology, chemistry, physics or Management (Computer) Information Systems is preferred.

Experience
Minimum Required: 

  • 5 to 10 years’ experience working with clients to define process and system requirements.

SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST – HOUSTON, TEXAS

TECHNICAL ANALYST I – ENVIRONMENTAL SOFTWARE SERVICES – CHICAGO, ILLINOIS | BUFFALO, NEW YORK | HOUSTON, TEXAS

E2 ManageTech (E2) is looking for a Technical Analyst to join our dynamic Chicago team. The qualified candidate will have up to 3 years’ experience, a strong aptitude for learning, as well as excellent verbal and written communications skills including technical documentation. He or she will work with project teams to configure and deploy EMIS software based on customer requirements.

Specific duties for this position include:

  • Configuration of enterprise-level EMIS software to meet deployment design specifications
  • Customization of commercial off-the-shelf EHS Software, EMIS solutions
  • Report building and analysis using industry-standard and built-in reporting tools (e.g. SSRS, Enablon report builder)
  • Data migration and cleansing
  • EMIS technical support and training
  • Maintenance-related and post go-live support activities
  • Maintain a clear understanding of tasks assigned and associated budgeted hours
  • Gain familiarity with environmental, health & safety domain knowledge
  • Create simple reports in EMIS solutions with minimal assistance
  • Conduct unit testing on configuration tasks with oversight as needed

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

SENIOR ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH AND SAFETY COMPLIANCE MANAGER – HOUSTON, TX

Job Description

E2 ManageTech (E2) is looking for an energetic team player located in Houston, TX with a minimum of 12 years of environmental health and safety compliance consulting experience. The qualified candidate will have senior compliance consulting experience within Texas. He or she would also be a self-starter, have an internal sense of responsibility, and possess excellent organization and communication skills. The candidate should also have a demonstrated willingness to help grow a practice and the office.

Specific duties for this position include:

  • Execution and delivery of project specific deliverables
  • Develop/manage existing client accounts
  • Provide technical sales support for new business opportunities
  • Manage, develop and/or mentor junior staff
  • Participate in the strategic direction of the office to support growth in the region
  • Maintain a commitment to providing excellent client service
  • Maintain a commitment to Health and Safety

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

Interested candidates should have a strong record of managing and expanding client accounts, and/or demonstrated growth in a practice or office. The candidate should have experience acting in the capacity of a true “doer seller”. This means managing projects, working with sales staff to develop new business, and developing existing clients for repeat business.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • A minimum of a BS in environmental, chemical, civil and/or mechanical engineering, or related science discipline, from an accredited university.
  • A minimum of 12+ years of environmental or other consulting experience
  • A minimum of 8 years of Project Management experience in the Environmental Industry
  • Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas
  • Oil and Gas industry experience (not mandatory but a plus)
  • Hands on environmental compliance experience specific to: air quality, water, waste, health, and/or safety
  • Working knowledge of State and local regulatory agency requirements a must
